MATC Student Chosen to Serve on CISCO Live 'Dream Team' in International Competition
Uzoma “Ike” Ozurumba, a student in Milwaukee Area Technical College’s Information Technology Network Specialist associate degree program, has been selected to serve as a member of the Cisco Networking Academy’s “Dream Team” at its national convention/trade fair in Orlando, Fla., June 23-27. He is one of only 10 students selected from a competition including applicants from the U.S. and Canada.
Members of the “Dream Team” will provide technical support to CISCO teams and customer support to the more than 17,000 attendees at the conference. The CISCO Networking Academy is designed to help individuals prepare for industry-recognized certifications and entry-level information and communication technology careers. Cisco Systems, Inc., designs, manufactures, and sells Internet protocol (IP)-based networking and other products related to the communications and information technology industry.
