Barber/Cosmetologist Instructor


Downtown Milwaukee Campus

Share your passion for the profession and develop the skills required to teach barbering and cosmetology, manicuring, or aesthetician skills to new students entering the field. Coursework covers communications, adult learning styles, developing lesson plans, presentation methods, development of evaluation tools for classroom use, and classroom management techniques. Blended instruction format includes online and face to face.

Start Dates: August/January

Special Admission Requirements: You must hold a Wisconsin license in Barber/Cosmetology and have completed two years of work experience in the profession. Demonstration of basic skills through a course placement assessment is also required for admission.
